About the role:
Rawson Group are looking for a passionate Selection Consultant to help our customers, families, investors, and businesses shape their new home into something truly unique. This role will see you partner with our clients in the A.C.T colour studio to select all aspects of their new home from providing inspiration, advice, and sketch-ups to ensure the product aligns with the desired outcome of our customers. You will work with internal and external teams to raise variations, work through design changes, quote and assist with enquiries for the best customer experience possible. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present colour schedules and quotations for both custom projects and spec homes
- Liaise with clients throughout the entire colour selection process, including managing and product discontinuations or re-selections
- Provide creative and contemporary design inspiration to fit our customers' vision
- Showcase our upgrade options outlining the benefits and choice options for their design
- Inspire selections throughout the process utilising our Design Studio showcasing our options
- Liaise with suppliers for upgrade quotes and compatibility with designs
- Arrange for plan acceptance and approval for kitchen and cabinetry elements
- Provide internal teams with information such as variations, alterations and completed colour selections
- Prepare and finalise electrical plans in collaboration with clients to ensure design intent and functionality are met
About You:
Qualifications:
Tertiary:
- Diploma in Interior Design (or working towards)
Professional:
- 1-2 year's of experience in a similar role (with exposure to construction sector highly desirable)
- Experience in framework & On Site Companion (OSC) (desirable)
Skills:
- Knowledge of design principals
- Experience working directly with clients
- Ability to promote upgrade packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate to resolve complex problems
