About the role:

 

We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our team, responsible for providing compliant, accurate and coordinated sales and construction documentation. This role involves ensuring drawings meet all relevant standards and policies, maintaining up-to-date documentation throughout the Rawson workflow and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality documentation. If you are a motivated self-starter with strong Revit skills and a solid understanding of residential building standards, we'd like to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure all drawings comply with requirements such as Council Policies SEPP, NCC, Australian Standards, Rawson & Customer Standards
  • Keep all documentation up to date, ensuring variations are highlighted and accounted for to meet specifications of the tender. 
  • Ensure all documentation and associated systems reflect the status of the workflow while maintaining clear, concise and accurate documentation
  • Partner with internal and external departments, such as consultants and external drafting teams to support and assist in achieving complaint documentation that is fully coordinated 
  • Manage tasks efficiently to meet expected outcomes to maintain the Rawson streamlined processes

 

About You:

 

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV Building Design or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of NCC and Australian Standard requirements in residential home builds
  • Experience in the residential home building industry

 

Skills:

  • Must be proficient in Revit 
  • Experienced with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Microsoft office suite 
  • Ability to prioritise and self-manage multiple tasks efficiently 
  • Clear communication skills - verbal and written
  • High attention to detail
