About the role:
Join our dynamic team as a Product Draftsperson. We're hiring two positions to support our Product Development team, a permanent position and a 12-month maximum term position. Play a pivotal role in providing technical drafting support for all design-related projects. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure that each project adheres to Rawson's design principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Follow design principals and develop technical drawings across our diversified projects from initial conceptions to the final sign-off.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent design is met using external resources to translate concepts into technical drawings.
- Ensure projects align with all industry and regional compliance requirements completing review of architectural drawings to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
- Communicate cross functionality with project stakeholders to understand requirements, solve issues and provide timely updates.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections and construction details
- Run clash detection processes for all products to identify conflicts, and partner with internal departments to resolve issues with designs or elements.
About You:
Qualifications:
- Diploma of Building Design & Drafting, Diploma of Architectural Drafting or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of BCA and Australian Standard requirements in residential home builds.
Skills:
- Proficient in Revit / AutoCad
- Clear communication skills - verbal and written
- High attention to detail and ability to self-manage
