About the role:
The Rawson Group are searching for an experienced Project Manager with a background in Residential B2B and Medium Density building contracts. Join us and Work with some of the industry’s leading Clients/ Developers to help shape vibrant communities through thoughtful planning and seamless execution. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the entire project, managing tender processes and planning build workflows overseeing site managers and ensuring safety, quality, and budgets are Executed. We are looking for a positive, engaging individual that supports problem-solving on the ground and a trusted representative of the Rawson Group, building and maintaining strong effective relationships and delivering outcomes that exceed expectations of our clients/Partners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with and support internal teams to build out workflow and capability for tender documents
- Represent the Rawson Group throughout the lifecycle of each project to support the client
- Identify and plan projects using your experience and the capabilities of the project team, setting realistic and achievable goals
- Understand internal and external clients' needs to meet deadlines collaboratively
- Lead and support construction site staff, managing budgets and build programs to ensure each project hits forecasted milestones
- Ensure construction site managers enforce safe work practices and deliver quality products aligned with Rawson Group and client expectations
- Hold regular PCG meetings with clients and management, delivering clear communication internally and externally
- Be adaptable to changing timeframes and delivery challenges, providing proactive solutions, and fostering a can-do attitude
- Report on individual budgets and forecast performance monthly, creating transparency throughout each project
About You:
Experience:
- Proven ability to lead, manage teams, and negotiate challenges effectively
- Extensive experience in planning and managing medium to large residential housing projects
- Skilled in partnering with clients and managing internal teams to avoid conflicting tasks and achieve milestones
- Construction Regulations and Software: In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, building software (BIM, ACC, etc.), and permit approval processes
- Strong understanding of WHS, quality, and environmental standards, with leadership skills that drive a positive culture
- Expertise in budgeting and cost management, with a focus on negotiation, problem-solving, and reporting to management
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients, attract and retain contractors, and build successful teams
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and develop sound, achievable programs for internal teams, aligned with project goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project management, construction management or related Tertiary education
- Relevant certifications in project management or similar
- Industry training/qualifications
