About the role:
We are looking for a Trades Manager to join our team, based at our Head office in Rhodes. You will support Rawson Group by sourcing, securing, negotiating, planning and resourcing trades for builds across contract homes, spec homes and B2B projects. This exciting role ensures a continued stream of capable trades are onboarded and allocated appropriately to meet demands of our projects. Ideally, you'll come from a "on-site" background with sound knowledge of construction processes, timeframes and requirements in residential home builds. Using your existing site skills and understanding of the built environment you will attract capable trades and maintain working relationships to support our projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Build out trade base to supply the current and future pipeline of work
- Communicate with trades to validate their capabilities, availability and allocate accordingly
- Assist in onboarding with internal vendor teams
- Assess site needs and work proactively to ensure trades are available
- Use your knowledge of building to scope trades and manage their performance
- Partner with internal teams to ensure compatibility between materials, scope and capability for optimised on site performance
About You:
- Strong verbal communication skills, able to shift between "talking Tradie" and professional business language
- A practical mindset with an existing network and ability to build new trade relationships
- A team player able to adapt to dynamic project needs quickly
- Excellent logistical management skills to pre-plan for variable work loads
- Skilled negotiator with a focus to deliver the best outcome for projects
- Committed to continuously share and learn knowledge with the team for personal growth
